Letters and other documents
This page contains a sample of the surviving letters between members of the Clark and Mullin families. It is not known how many letters did not survive.
Undated
- Eusebio to Annie, undated but probably around 1877, the year that they were married.
- Dr J Mullin to Annie, undated, but written when he was working in Ogmore and visited Bridgend. This is described on page 159 of ‘The Story of a Toiler’s Life’. He was detained there for several weeks and was impatient to leave.

Sadly, Justin Mullin did not see these letters: he had died on the 8th September and the letter of condolence from the army took about two weeks to arrive from India:

This letter describes Dr Mullin’s recent trip to Ireland. There is a stamp on the envelope to indicate that it was not collected from the Thomas Cook’s office.
